The House was very clean. The outdoor shower was awesome. We cooked most of our meals. The kitchen has everything. Bring extra trash bags and toilet paper. They provide a starter set. We found some beach chairs and a pop up shade in the shed outside. This was handy!!

The main drag in front is busy but no traffic noise inside the house. The house was perfect with four bedrooms and central living, dining and kitchen. Beds are very comfortable kitchen has most things you need to cook. You need to bring Everything else. The balconies were where you hang out and watch the activity. We rented a 6 passenger golf cart which was great for taking everyone to and from the beach front. Navarre is a quiet beach more laid back, we didn’t go out at night so can’t comment on the nightlife. Most everything you need for shopping is back across the bridge. Overall, it was a great vacation and the house was perfect for our group. I would recommend the property.

Upon entering I can honestly say this is probably the cleanest I have ever found a rental home at the beach. We were very happy with all the space. The beds were comfortable and the house itself was very well stocked with any type of cooking utensils or appliances you would need. The closet downstairs below the house had extra beach equipment, two grills, corn hole game and all kinds of beach toys for kiddos. The downstairs area was a great hangout area while we were cooking on the grill. It was a very short walk to the beach and everyone in our group said they would definitely stay again. This house is beautiful, everything we needed was there to get us started, the open basement, what we called it, had games to play and was a great place to hang out, the deck on front and back of the house had plenty of seating. The access to the beach was close by too. We will definitely keep The Buckeye in mind for future visits.

This beach house is wonderful! Huge porches so everyone can spread out and enjoy Gulf or bay views! Exceptionally clean and furnished. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Beach access just a block away. Definitely would stay here again.

They sent us all the info needed prior to check in. Was able to text and get a reply asap. Had a couple smaller issues and both were taken care of within the hour! I was pleasantly surprised. One was our fault (user error) and the other one, they fixed and apologized, and left it at that. Great customer service 😁 we loved the property and the managing group. Thank y’all so much!

The beach is an easy walk with good access (public). The porch was well furnished for sitting and listening to waves. The kitchen has a good assortment of items for those of us who prefer to eat in. Only one room had a creaky bed, the rest were pretty great. We stay with extended family. 4 adults and 2 littles we were very comfortable. 10/10 would recommend for location, comfort, cleanliness and amenities. PS the outdoor shower is the best part!!!!!

This house was perfect - just as advertised, roomy with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, right across the street from a nice white sand beach, not too crowded an area... A+. Worked out perfect for our family with small kiddos. Close enough to the beach to be there in 2 minutes, but not *right* on the beach where we'd have to watch them close. For whatever reason someone had to come meet us for check in versus sending us the door code, but after that is was easy to get in/out, Most time getting to/from the mainland was seamless although I'd warn that on a Sunday evening there was a but of a wait. Again, though, this was a perfect destination, great house, good service. Would definitely come back!

Location just across the street from the beach. Make sure you have a beach cart to take your things down to the beach. Plenty of beach chairs and toys are provided at the house but no cart. The house was very clean and laid out nicely for a family. Everyone had their own space. Navarre is very nice, not busy and the beach was not crowded. Also, as the other reviews state the chairs on the deck are uncomfy but the view makes up for it. Awesome house and area.

the listing was as described clean and response to questions or problems was very quick - I would recommend this property to anyone but not in October (I've already got it booked for 2019 and ask for it thru 2025) - we enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets almost every day (just across the street on the beach and a few from a bench on the mainland side of the causeway) we always go to Peg Leg Petes in Pensacola Beach at least once and went to Scooters for some of the best seafood in Navarre) we attended FBC Navarre and i played in their orchestra - we love Navarre and Buckeye - Dale

I was impressed with the rental, and the management. At one point the fire alarms went off in the middle of the night, I called the office and they were quick to get there and replace the fire alarms. I would not hesitate to rent this house, or from bluemoon again

This was our family first vacation, ever in my 40something years. It was a great success and my parents for the first time really enjoy themselves. Love the quietness of the location. The access to the beach and the bay was a huge bonuses for the kids. The only negative was the sliding bathroom door won’t close completely and the freezer door pop open every time the fridge are open. It was a minor situation. Thank you, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!!!!

My family and friends enjoyed our time at the Buckeye (War Eagle!). The people we booked from have a heart of Gold! Thank you for taking such good care of us! The location was perfect - ocean in front of the house and the sound behind the house. We rented bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards from Sage (they were awesome as well and they deliver the items you rent). The weather was lovely as well. All we did was lay on the beach, play in the sound, and cook dinner at the Buckeye! Great mini-vacation! We will be back!

This was our first visit to Navarre Beach after spending the last 6 summer vacations staying in the Destin area. This was perfect! Navarre is the complete opposite of all the hustle and bustle of Destin. We were a group of 9 (2 families with 2 kids each and a Brent). The house was the right size and housed us all perfectly. The house had all the necessary items we needed for the week. We made several meals in the kitchen and utilized the grill which we smoked a pork butt in overnight! The location was great, right across from the beach with beach access over the dune (via the path). The short walk over was easy especially with the kids. The beach and ocean was great, never crowded at all. After years in Destin we have now found a new place to stay, Navarre! We will certainly stay in the Buckeye House again next year or one of Blue Moons many other properties in the Navarre area. The rental process was easy and getting hand delivered the keys made it really personal, they care about their properties and it shows. Thanks!

Spent many evenings enjoying the sound of the waves, the gentle breeze and the moonlit evenings (which was an added bonus). Navarre is a great location away from all of the hub bub at Pensacola Beach, where we have stayed many times before. It is quiet yet convenient to everything with just a short trip across the bridge. We just got back from Navarre Beach, and boy do we miss it. Buckeye had everything our big family could ask for. The house was roomy, the kitchen was the most well stocked we have ever stayed at. The porch... what can I say about that wonderful porch? Every night we would sit on that porch to talk, feel the breeze and hear the waves. Under the house had room for the teenage boys to play a game of football toss. The beautiful beach was just a short, easy walk away. Jeanette made the whole rental process easy (thank you again!!). Our dogs loved the bay, one of them had to be dragged out of it, she loved lizard hunting (we assumed it was lizards) and had a taste for saltwater. We had to limit her walks to the roads after that. I hope the lucky family who moved in after we left is having as much a wonderful time as we did. The weather was perfect as well (one day it rained till noon) and the water was perfection. We will be back and we will recommend Navarre and Buckeye.

We stayed at the Buckeye 9/5-1-2015 and had a fantastic time. It was everything that we thought it would be. Loved the accommodations and the house was beautiful. We went east to Destin and west to Pensacola which was a very short drive both ways. The view from both sides of the douse were beautiful. Jeannette was great with the reservations and meeting us at the house. I will recommend the Buckeye to all of my friends and family.

What a beach home it was. We had 6 adults and 5 kids and fit wonderfully. We did not want to leave. The view is like heaven. The porch was our favorite part of the home. It couldn't get any better. The beach was right across the street. We had never been to Navarre it is really something special. I loved how it was not so touristy. Jeanette was great through out the whole process too. We'd stayed at the Buckeye recently. Never having been to Navarre, we took a leap of faith. We were not disappointed. The house was super clean, well stocked and had a great porch for ocean viewing. We were greeted by the owners upon arrival. During the week, they even came and put the trash can on the street for pickup!!! The ocean was crystal clear and the sand was pure white. Amazing! We had great seafood in Destin and Pennsicola. Recommend Dewy Destin. Peg Leg Pete, Grand Marlin and the famous Doighnut Hole. We were able to rent chairs and umbrellas from Ed who faithfully took care of us daily. ❤️❤️❤️ This vacation

I made a kind of last minute inquiry on this rental (2 weeks out), and was very worried we would not be able to find anything open. Jeanette was very friendly and helpful and got us this 4 bedroom 2 bath beach house. The pictures DO NOT do this place justice. It was very nice and clean. All of the kiddos (ages 7, 7, 8, 10, and 13) were so excited when we got to the rental! It has awesome views from the front and back! We walked across the beach to the Gulf every morning to swim, look for seashells, and search for crabs (which we found A LOT of!) Most of our time in the afternoon was spent relaxing on the deck and grilling with the family. We had 2 couples and my mother and all the kiddos with us and were still able to have privacy with the kids rooms being on the other side of the house. It was definitely a trip we will never forget! I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a "home away from home." We did not want to leave. Looking forward to our next stay!
