Thank you for your stay and review. The GFI plug must have blown in the bath, (an easy fix) and the a/c does not have a control on it, we just ask that guests do not put it lower than 72. If you choose to stay with us again, we'd love the opportunity to exceed your expectations.

We loved the beach house, it was close enough to walk to the beach easily with the kids, but then felt away from everything and quiet. The house was the perfect size for us. Beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the big shower for the kids! Already booked again!

This place was very nice and had fully stocked kitchen. I would stay here again. The only complaint we had was the living room couch was not very comfortable bc of the bed underneath and the cushion in the middle would fall through. Other than that I would recommend bc of the peace and quiet and the beautiful beach!

The house was amazing. Perfect for just the two of us with enough room for our grandkids who live nearby to spend a day and night with us. The dedicated bike path was wonderful and we felt very comfortable riding in the neighborhood too. We played golf two days at two separate courses and both were great. It’s the first time I’ve ever heard my husband say he was sorry our vacation was coming to an end and he wished we could stay longer.

We enjoyed our stay at Castaway Cove. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. It was an easy walk to the beach. The only downside was all the construction going on around us. We were awaken one morning at 6 am to the beeping and squeaking of heavy machinery. There is a lot of construction all over the island so this is not a problem unique to this location. I would recommend this property.

We arrived just a little earlier than check-in time, but were able to get in to the rental just a short time later. Lisa walked me through the property and answered all my questions, and she also gave me some information about the area, too. The property was neat, clean, and amply furnished. My family and I quickly felt at home. We would definitely consider staying at Castaway Cove again sometime, and would recommend the property to friends or relatives. We had a little trouble with getting on the WIFI at first, but the folks at Blue Moon Vacation Rentals helped us ASAP. We enjoyed spending time at the beach, which was within a very short distance of the property. My husband and I also enjoyed running in the neighborhood. Navarre Beach is a beautiful area and less commercialized than some of its neighbors, but there are still stores and restaurants within an easy distance of this property.

The house was very comfortable, safe and secure. No problems checking in, house was as advertised, pics were an accurate representation of the house. The Blue Moon staff were excellent prior and during our stay. House was spotless and in excellent condition. No issues at all. Bluemoon was great VRBO was great. All that being said… Our family has been coming to Navarre annually/semi-annually for 15yrs. We were always accustomed to the weekend crowds and traffic that disappears during the quiet week- not anymore. Island population seems to be doubled, traffic, crowds, construction and no enforcement of the posted speed limit (so much for running, biking, skating safely). Island census seems to have doubled since our last trip. It’s sad to feel like this quiet little island is no longer a secret - the solitude and quiet we enjoyed may have to be found elsewhere. It’s definitely not Destin or Pensacola yet-but it’s definitely not the Navarre of years past either. If you’ve never been before it’s a great place, you’ll have a great time and you wouldn’t understand - if you’re a frequent vacationer here or a local you’ll totally understand.

Your visit was at the height of spring break, when there are definitely more people than other times of the year (except for summer of course!) There are plenty of other months when the beach will certainly remind you of "years past".

We (2 couples) stayed in Castaway Cove for the month of February. We loved the location and the surrounding area. The property is very nice, but can be a little uncomfortable for a longer period. Every chair is at counter height. The two tables in the place cannot be used for writing because of the slates in each. That being said, we would return in a heartbeat. Navarre Beach is a perfect place to be. And we loved the Mardi Gras parade! Thank you for the wonderful time away!!

The house is great and is a short drive/walk to the beach. It faces the bay, which is about 100 yards away. The closest beach access is about a quarter mile from the house. The beaches were beautiful and we had plenty of space on the beach to enjoy ourselves. We also fished near the bridge and had lots of success!

Castaway Cove is just as described! It was clean, spacious, very nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed - it was well stocked. The washer and dryer worked great and were so nice to have as they were used daily! The jetted tub was a fabulous spa like feature that was such a great bonus! The location was as described. You could walk to the beach, but with all our beach gear and small children we drove the very short distance to the public beach access. Outside the house there was a hose and an outdoor shower which were very helpful as the public beach access sight did not have a fresh water hose or shower to rinse off with. The hammock outside was another relaxing touch! There is construction of a new home just across the street, outside the front door (towards the Sound side) and a little to the right (east) going on. It didn’t bother us at all, but others may want to know that. The check in process was easy and no contact which was great. Management was easy to contact, but we had no issues during our stay. This was our first rental house, it was a great a great experience!

Castaway Cove was just perfect for my husband and me, our daughter and her husband and our two young grandchildren. The house was very clean and well maintained. We could tell that extra precautions had been made to keep us safe during the pandemic. The moment we entered the home, the subtle beach colors on the walls, the furniture , the wall art and decorations helped us relax for our week at Navarre Beach. The house was decorated beautifully! We had everything we needed in the kitchen.We loved the Master shower! We enjoyed sitting on the huge porch after spending the day at the beach. We especially enjoyed the view of Santa Rosa Sound. The beach was just a short walk from the house. We enjoyed our daily walk each morning in the neighborhood. Our daughter and her husband ran each morning. We noticed something new in the neighborhood each time we went for a walk or a run. Castaway Cove was a great beach house!

Quiet beach home in Navarre Beach. Short drive to public beach access. Very close to Gulf Islands National Seashore, and its wonderful beaches. Home is spotless, newly remodeled with up to date appliances. Widescreen TV's in 3 rooms with DVD in one. Keep in mind that as a beach home in hurricane area, that one must climb up stairs to the home, so there is not disability access. We enjoyed our stay very much, and the weather gave us 65 degree sunny days every day.

This is the first beach house we've rented. Usually we get a condo. But we very much enjoyed this slower more peaceful part of beach living. It was quiet, and you could still hear the Gulf some quarter mile away. We walked, ran, read, relaxed and simply enjoyed ourselves. We highly recommend this slower and gentler side of the beach. It's peace and relaxation.

We loved the small, family friendly feel of Navarre and enjoyed our stay in Castaway Cove. It was very clean, simply decorated with great amenities. You can enjoy a short walk to the bay for a calm stroll or be at the beautiful beach in just a 5 minute walk. We loved the open feel of the house and how you could sit at the kitchen table and see the bay. Don't miss the scenic drive to Pensacola or a walk on the long fishing pier. It was a wonderful trip and a great place to stay.

Over the past few years, we have fallen victim to pictures of houses that were taken many years earlier, leaving us with a rundown vacation home. Castaway Cove was the exact opposite. It was beautifully decorated and accommodating. The pictures don’t even do it justice! We woke up surrounded by coastal decor and with a 2 minute walk, we were surrounded by the beautiful white sand of Navarre Beach. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I were sent to this beautiful home in Navarre by our wonderful son and daughter-in-law for an anniversary gift. Aren't we fortunate? The home was lovely. Every morning we woke up to beautiful sunrises with puffy clouds and amazing colors painted across the sky. We spent hours exploring the Gulf Islands National Seashore where we fished, swam in the sound, saw hermit crabs, a black snake, pelicans, ospreys and tiny little geckos. I was delighted to find many beautiful shells for our grandchildren and for my own enjoyment. Olives, spirals, fighting conchs, scotch bonnets, scallops and pieces of huge thick sand dollars were a few of the kinds we found. We enjoyed sunsets from the pier where we saw a cow-nosed ray, many large jellyfish and fisherman pulling in a variety of fish. Opal Beach was another good spot for beautiful sunsets. We visited Fort Pickens which was a pretty interesting place. Also visited the Marine Center but just missed seeing Sweet Pea the resident. The Gulf lived up to its name of the Emerald Coast as it was an amazing green-blue with gentle waves and daily breezes. This was truly a remarkable trip. We loved our week in Navarre! The house is beautifully decorated, just the right location to the beach and the bay! Short drive across the bridge to grocery shopping. The kitchen needs a few more essentials, but a trip to the dollar tree helped with that. As long as you aren’t a gourmet cook expecting to cook every night it’s not a huge deal! We hope to be back!

The property was clean and in good shape, it was great for our group of four people. The service provided by Jeanette and Al was over and above great, Jeanette met us at the property, she was very nice, and Al came out twice when we had internet issues, he was there within the hour. We all liked Al for his quality service and he really worked hard to get the internet back up, and of course that had nothing to do with the property, but the provider, and Al helped us anyway. Thanks Jeanette and Al, you are professional and friendly. you provided us with great customer service.

The pictures are beautiful and it was even more so in person. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. Every activity we chose was in close range...zoo, aquarium, boat rental and beach. We hope to be back soon!

Castaway Cove was a wonderful getaway home on Navarre Beach. It was just a short walk away from the Gulf of Mexico and the Santa Rosa Sound. This gives you two options for a fun, relaxing stay. The coastal beach decor seemed right out of a decorator's magazine. I could not have asked for more!

This home is a perfect blend of modern décor and beach charm. The master bedroom/bathroom is spa-like and beautiful. Amazing shower! After a long day on the beach it was nice to relax in the hammock and cook dinner on the grill. This home is clean, calming, and cozy (just as advertised). The newer washer and dryer were a great convenience. Our paddleboard traveled down with us and we enjoyed playing around in the sound just as much as the beach. The sound right in front of this home has a small beach area and shallow, clear waters for 100 yards. This was our second time in Navarre and we love the low-key, relaxed vibe of the community...and the BEAUTIFUL beaches!

Loved the house! Everyone who walked in immediately commented on the beautiful floors! This house was perfect for myself, my husband and our two older children. We all had to take our turn to try out the huge walk-in shower in the master bath. I didn't think at the time it would matter so much, but it was a really nice added bonus! Having the second fridge in the basement area ended up being really nice too. It was great to keep bags of ice in the freezer to use for packing up our cooler for the beach. You could not get a better place for viewing the sunset very evening from the expansive front deck. We actually ended up out there every evening. We didn't want nor need for one thing during our stay. The house is very well equipped with beach supplies, kitchen supplies, and linens. It was perfect and I know we will try and reserve it again for our trip down next year! Thanks for everything! For sure one of the nicest rentals in Navarre. I just can't even say enough nice things about our visit here, it was truly a wonderful home.

This home is one of the best, if not the best, rental homes I have ever stayed in. The beach home presents even better than the beautiful photos on the website. It is just across the street from the sound, and there are also small views of the gulf from the kitchen and guest bedroom; the gulf is only a short walk away (maybe less than 100 yards). Other than being spotless and brand new, my favorite feature of the home is its location. It is located on a quiet street in Navarre with other similar homes on stilts. The views of the sound are beautiful and can be seen from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The master bath is more like a high-end spa with a jetted, huge shower and separate jacuzzi/jetted deep tub. The three flat screen televisions were modern and huge, but with the outside views and close proximity to the beach, I doubt they'll be used much. I've been to many different locals, from Hawaii to St. John and I generally stay at 4 and 5 star resorts only-I would have to say the accommodations presented with this rental home are superb. Staying at this beach rental home beats anywhere else I've stayed at, mainly due to the new, spotless convenience features of the home (stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, modern washer/dryer, beautiful flooring, outdoor showers, amount of space-huge) and its privacy and location. The property managers were extremely helpful and very nice. I would definitely stay here again. I didn't want to leave. Perfect home and location.
