Sea Hawk

We had a fantastic stay at this beach house in Navarre Beach! The house was incredibly spacious and fit our whole family comfortably. You can’t beat the location, having the beach literally right outside the back door made everything so easy and relaxing. Being pet-friendly was a huge bonus for us too! It was the perfect spot for our family's spring break getaway, and we’ll definitely be staying here again in the future.

No detail was overlooked -- they even provided a dog blanket to cover the furniture. (We always bring our own dog beds and blankets, but it was nice to have an extra!) The living room leads out to a wonderful deck, and the master bedroom had a private balcony -- both with good furniture. We love Navarre and have stayed in several rentals. The Blue Moon staff was amazing! Email, text, and phone communication was top notch. Prompt and professional answers to all of our questions. Checking in and out was a breeze. Zero issues and hope to return soon!

The space was beautiful and clean. I feel it important to give warning for those looking to pack 10 people in this small 1700 square feet. The master bedroom is large and spacious, but there is no door leading to the bathroom, seeking us to use the other upstairs restroom in the middle of the night, so we didn't wake each other with the bathroom light. Unfortunately, the second access to the bathroom is located in the other upstairs bedroom that is overly packed with beds to maximize the advertisement that it sleeps 10. In one small bedroom, they packed with two double beds and a single bed with a trundle which partially blocks the bathroom. It is a horrible trip hazard. 15 days after tripping on the leg of the single/trundle bed in the middle of the night, and falling into the bathroom on the shower ledge, tub, toilet and floor, I am horribly injured and haven't been able to return to work. I am not elderly, nor overweight. Be very careful in this space if you need 10 guests here, it simply is not big enough or safe enough to fill all three beds and a trundle in there.

This was my first time staying at Navarre and Sea Hawk did not disappoint! It was exactly as advertised and looked even better than the pictures. The property managers were so friendly and helpful from answering my questions before I booked, to checking me in and explaining everything, to accommodating a 20 minute delay in checking out - our baby didn't understand time! Their kindness and approachability made the trip even better. I will definitely make this our annual property and will bring the family back! One note: The beds are quite firm - if you don't like that, bring a mattress pad. I ended up buying one while I was there.

This property was very, very clean and great for our family of eight- one grandparent, three parents and four children under the age of eleven. There are lots of stairs which the younger folks navigated well. The bedroom off the kitchen was perfect for grandma. It's nice that each bedroom has its own bath. The decor is not exceptional but certainly functional and comfortable and the beds are extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to all things Navarre Beach and Pensacola. The beach was stunning as were the views from the home. We were there on spring break and there was not a crowd, just families enjoying themselves. No regrets in renting and I would stay again!

We noticed alot of rust on the door fixtures (hinges/plates/locks, etc) and had difficulty using the patio door due to this, I think those should be replaced. We truly enjoyed our stay and would use the property again as the location was not near the high rises and the views from the property are unobstructed. The property manager is very responsive and attentive to requests as well.

Stores & restaurants were easy to get to. We were hoping to catch some prettier water. Lots of weeds floating and wish you could see the beach from the beach house. The grassy hill blocks your few. It did make for some great pictures. As for amenities I gave it 3 stars. A few little things we normally find @ our other beach house stays weren't there. There wasn't a lighter for the charcoal grill, no salt & pepper shakers. The ice maker finally filled up by end of the week and would only put out crushed ice. My mom and her friend sat on deck most of the time and the umbrella for table was missing and that is your very first picture. Overall I give the house a 5. We'd visit again.

The house itself was very nice; there was plenty of room to spread out and the view was amazing. There are three outdoor deck areas; the ground level patio that was perfect for loading and unloading before hitting the beach, the large main level deck for outdoor family time, and the great upstairs deck off the primary bedroom which was perfect for morning zoom calls. We would visit again!

The house being on the beach afforded us beautiful views, and was very convenient...no hauling coolers and bags back and forth to the beach. It was clean, and well-decorated. The kitchen was equipped with good cookware. We loved our week together in this house! My one suggestion to guests is to take your own sheets. The sheets on all of the beds were rough as sand paper.

This property is everything it is advertised to be! The location was great; we could watch our kids on the beach from the second floor balcony. First floor balcony gives wonderful views of sunrises. Water pressure and hot water availability were excellent. Drawbacks: While minor, we find the fan in the master bedroom annoyingly loud and not fast enough. Barely moved air through the room. Would have liked screens on the windows as it was in the 60's a few nights and we would have liked to open the windows overnight to enjoy the sounds of the ocean. The beds in the master bedroom and the first floor were very hard. I have back problems and it made for uncomfortable nights. Despite those issues, we had a fantastic time and would book this propery again!

I would recommend this property for a family vacation. Great space and the daybed with a trundle bed was perfect. It allowed for each family of 4 to stay in rooms together. The property manager was amazing to work with allowing an early check-in and handling an issue with the microwave quickly! Overall great experience!

The downstairs area was perfect for us to cook outdoors and to clean up all the kids after a day at the beach. The only thing that could be done to improve the property is to put something reflective on the step on the main deck. It is very easy to miss that step since it is all one color.

The property management company was easy to communicate with and met us with the keys right on time. The condo was sparkling clean and well appointed. The layout of the house was perfect for us 4 ladies, and could accommodate 1-2 more. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking great meals with local fresh seafood. The deck was amazing for lounging and the views were great, dolphins in the morning and sunsets in the evening. The proximity to the beach was tops, just a short walk over 1 sand dune. During our stay in late April, the beach was very peaceful. We also enjoyed snorkeling at the marine sanctuary, driving through the Gulf National Seashore to Ft. Pickens, and kayaking right in the ocean in front of the condo. The location and proximity to attractions and stores was perfect. We will definitely be back to the Sea Hawk!

The property we rented, “Sea Hawk” was clean & pretty much matched the online description. The extra cleaning measures due to Covid19 were very much appreciated. The only thing I would address/suggest would be some more baking pans(pizza pans) in kitchen and a few laundry baskets. It was a great week of just “getting away” and relaxing with our family. We will definitely work with Blue Moon again for our next family get-a-way- we LOVE Navarre Beach!!!

The townhouse was great! Plenty of space for our families. Loved the walk out to beach!! Could have used a few stainless steel skillets and kitchen utensils because we like to cook but overall the place was great! The beds were really comfortable and bed linens were cotton and very nice! We had a wonderful stay at Sea hawk. There were 4 adults and 6 children and we found we had ample room for everyone. The views are absolutely amazing and the beach is incredible. We sat on the deck and watched our kids play in the sand off the balcony. We saw dolphins more than once. It was just the perfect spot for a family and I would recommend to others.

Navarre Beach is quiet, which we really appreciated; most of the good restaurants are in Pensacola Beach and Pensacola (and they are worth the drive). The beach is perfect. We saw dolphins several times as we sat on the deck (and two swam by when my daughter was in the water). All three bedrooms have their own bathrooms, so there is plenty of privacy. The townhome is spacious and clean. It was a great stay.

Jeanette and Al are very cooperative and friendly hosts and thanks to them, we have found our winter 'home away from home' in Navarre. The location and the property is exactly what we wanted. The proximity to restaurants, shopping and interesting sites makes this an ideal stay for us snowbirds!

Usually rent freestanding single family homes because I want peace and quiet and thought you wouldn't have that in a townhome but our stay at Seahawk was as peaceful and quiet as any single family home. The noisiest part was the waves crashing on the beach....ahhhhhh! Will go back in a heartbeat!

Sea Hawk was an awesome house for 5 of us for the week. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The walk to the beach was short while the deck provided 24/7 views whenever we wanted to hang out. Even with rain we were able to all sit outside in the dry and watch the rain and the waves roll in. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms provided plenty of space so nobody was inconvenienced. We plan on returning next year. We highly recommend this property.

we loved our stay at Sea Hawk. There was plenty of room. And the view of the ocean from the large deck was amazing. My grandkids had plenty of room to play in the sand right off the deck. Will definitely be back!!

Seahawk was an excellent choice for us to have our vacation this year. We really liked the location which is away from the busy beaches. Just take your stuff over the dune pathway and set up shop on the beach for the day. We loved having our two dogs with us, and had plenty of walks on the bike trail across the street. There is a dog park on Pensacola beach where you can actually take the dogs on the beach. They loved it. I would say, the only drawback was not able to take our dogs on the beach at the Seahawk location. It's the rules. My only recommendation for Seahawk is to get a Keurig coffee maker. Everyone I know has one, and it makes it easy to make coffee with little mess. If you are looking for a quite place right on the Gulf, this is a fantastic place.

This our second year in a row to stay at Seahawk for Thanksgiving. As expected, our second time was just as great as the first. We were able to bring our dogs along since it is a dog friendly listing. Seahawk was and is a very clean and well kept property. It has all the amenities needed for a great and relaxing stay. The weather was phenomenal and we were able to walk the dogs everyday on the path across the street. Jeanette is very simple to work with for she makes sure you have everything needed to make your stay comfortable. I'm sure we will be returning.

This place is exactly as advertised. We just recently stayed here with a group of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids) and there was plently of room for everyone. Jeanette was really easy to work with and we had a great time. I hope we get to come back again.

This is the second time that our family has stayed at the Seahawk and it was exactly as we remembered. Right on the beach, spacious, clean, perfect amenities, pet friendly and extremely comfortable. Being right on the beach is very important, as my son, is physically handicapped and uses a wheelchair. Being able to wheel him a short distance to the beach is great. This year was very special as it was our 3 year old grandsons first trip to the beach, and to our excitement, he is a true beach bum! He loved everything about it and did not want to leave. Everything was perfect! Thank you Jeanette and Al for being so accommodating and wonderful to work with. We look forward to our next trip.

Seahawk was absolutely wonderful! Right on the beach, spacious, clean, loaded with amenities, pet friendly, and comfortable . View was beautiful and even though we had neighbors, we still had all the privacy we needed. The property managers were easy to work with. This was an awesome vacation and we are coming back to Seahawk next year!

We picked this vacation home because it was directly on the beach and more importantly, dogs are accepted here. It turned out to be so much more beautiful and relaxing than the website and pictures depict. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated...it was very homey and comfortable. The neighbors were very quiet and the beach and ocean were beautiful. The location was excellent; far enough away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to restaurants and stores for convenience. Jenette and Al were wonderful to work with when arranging our much needed vacation. We can't wait to return again and again!

Nothing but good things to say about our two week stay! Our family of 6 (plus a few rotating guests/family members) had plenty of space, privacy, and every comfort of home in this wonderful beach-front town home. Well-equipped kitchen and plenty of extra linens; Pleased to discover that the floor plan feels larger in person than it appears in the pictures posted on VRBO. Beach and surrounding area was super quiet, never crowded, lots of families around. Easy access to both the beach and the bay-- Our teenagers especially enjoyed paddleboarding and kayaking in both the gulf and the bay. (we rented the personal equipment of a friendly local fellow); Also rode bikes and walked the pier, combed the shoreline and shallow waters for shells, hunted crabs with flashlights at night, star-gazed, had several cook-outs on the large gulf-facing porch. Saw dolphins and a large sea turtle just beyond the visible sandbar. My favorite time of the day was taking a solitary walk at sunrise. Truly enjoyed the sights, sounds, and smells of the very ocean that was our old teenage hangout. We did take some excursions--went to Destin for a sunset dinner cruise, went to Pensacola beach via the Gulf Island National Seashore- what a beautiful drive!- went to Ft. Pickens, and took in a Double A baseball game in Pensacola. Picked up fresh-seafood at Joe Patti's to grill. Navarre Beach is well-situated, in our opinion, to take advantage of everything that both Destin and Pensacola have to offer- roughly 45 minute drives in opposite directions along HWY 98. But we prefer the quieter more relaxing environment we experience at Navarre beach- and loved coming "home" to our little piece of paradise during our stay. While we were here, we celebrated our Silver Anniversary and also held a party (off-site, at the Soundside Club on Hurlbert) in honor of husband's parent's Golden Wedding Anniversary! What a grand vacation! Would not have changed a thing- except maybe to stay longer! Would not hesitate to return- and hope we can very soon!

We have stayed here twice and plan to come back year after year. This is where we celebrate our wedding anniversaries. It doesn't get any better than this townhouse & location. You look out your living area at the beach. Sit on the deck and see the beach. From the master bedroom you can sit on the balcony and see the ocean. At night we open the windows to feel the ocean breeze and hear the waves. It is our home away from home. Even our small dogs love to play on the sandy area in the back below the deck. The property is clean, well maintained. The property managers Al & Jeanette are so accommodating. The photos accurately reflect the beauty of this townhome. Better book early!

THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY IF YOU WANT A RELAXING VACATION. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT AND THE BEACH/OCEAN BEAUTIFUL. WE WERE SO GLAD THAT WE COULD BRING OUR DOG ALONG THIS TIME! THE LEASING AGENT WAS AWESOME AND DID EVERYTHING TO MAKE OUR STAY....PERFECT! WE WERE THERE DURING SPRING BREAK WEEKEND AND HAD THE BEACH TO OURSELVES. BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE AND EVERYTHING IS THERE FOR YOU....INCLUDING BEACH CHAIR'S THAT I ASKED FOR THAT WERE NOT ALREADY THERE. THE HOUSE IS VERY CLEAN AND "ON THE BEACH" AS THE PICTURE'S SHOW. MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER'S WANTED MORE EXCITEMENT BUT MAMMA AND I LOVED THE PEACEFULNESS! NOT MANY SHELL'S ON THE BEACH AND SANDDOLLARS ARE HARD TO FIND HERE. THE BEACH IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE SAND PRESTINE. DON'T PASS THIS PLACE UP IF YOU WANT A WONDERFUL/RELAXING VACATION! MAJOR RESTAURANT'S ARE JUST 3-5 MINUTE DRIVE AWAY TOO. A CAR IS A MUST HERE AND YOU WILL HAVE YOUR OWN CARPORT! SIGHTSEEING ON THE NAT'L SEASHORE IS WONDERFUL (GOING TOWARDS PENSACOLA BEACH) BUT THE SPEED LIMIT IS CRAZY SLOW! WE LOVED THE ENTIRE AREA AND WILL BE BACK.

What a treasure we found at Sea Hawk. The property was well maintained. The photos shown described exactly what we found when we entered the property. The rental agency was prompt in answering our questions and or concerns. Enjoyed dining out frequently and favorite places included: TC's Front Porch, Juanas and Hemingway's in Pensacola Beach. Of course no stay is complete without multi trips to Joe Patti's in Pensacola for seafood. We entertained frequently and had plenty of space for large and small groups who loved the two tiered deck overlooking the gulf. Of course, beach life is what it is all about! We also liked the fact that our area was located in a very quiet neighborhood, away from the high rises and traffic. Our only complaint...........we had to leave too soon!

We are a group of women who have had a beach weekend together for 18 years---we had stayed at several condos on Navarre Beach before we found this gem. We have now rented for several years this cheerful and spacious condo that always makes us happy and relaxed. Ed, the rental agent and fixer-upper of any little glitch is "The Man" in our opinion. He is always concerned we have what we need and that our stay is enjoyable. We have already booked for year 19!!!

We were already familiar with Navarre Beach since we had rented another location just 2 blocks down for the last 7 years, but unfortunately it is no longer available for rental. We arrived early June at this location. Clean, practical and as we expected for a comfortable week vacation. Navarre has great places to eat locally and some entertainment, but if you want larger or more commercialized venues, you will have to drive to either Destin or Pennsacola. Not us-we want relative quietness and relaxation, which is what this beach provides. It appears to be semi-private, but actually is a public beach. This location is far enough away from the hi-rises at the other end of the island that you won't have crowded beaches or traffic problems. Don't worry, Walmart is just a few miles away, and there are plenty of fast food places within a mile or two. Whether you want to beach lounge, boogie board, look for shells or chase ladyfish (fishing) you can do it all, right out the back door and across the dune. Caveat: bring ALL your own beach stuff, this location doesn't provide any like we were used to. Great for families, not as great for teenage kids wanting to "party" or flirt with the opposite sex since it isn't a crowded beach. If you have little table-banger kids, be advised the dining table is glass. I'm a light sleeper, so I loved how dark the master bedroom can be made. The master bathroom is a little smaller than we anticipated, but the one downstairs (near the the dining room/kitchen) was bigger, so not a bad trade off. The three wood decks are awesome for viewing the ocean from the top 2, or for getting out of the sun and/or rinsing off on the bottom deck. Expect to see dolphin out in the surf at least once if you stay for a week. If you like to fish and know what to use, there is a good chance you will catch several varieties of fish, nearly any time of the day. Hint: a kayak works great if the water/wind isn't too rough. Overall, it was a nice place, clean and convenient. I would recommend it to friends/family. I agree with the other reviewer that the check in/out time is a little out of line (4 pm in, 7 am out) but Ed C said if the previous renters get out in time, you can most likely get in earlier. The pet allowance is nice if you have one, since not all places will allow a pet. Hope you have fun. We did!

There were 7 adults and 2 miniature dachshunds in our party. We had a wonderful week with direct beach access and beautiful views. The townhome was well-equipped, comfortable, and convenient. We provided our own beach equipment (canopy, chairs, ice chest,etc.) as they were not included in the amenities. Our entire week was outstanding! This was also very convenient for our dogs. If you are looking for a restful and relaxed family vacation, this place will provide you with everything you need!

This townhome was perfect for us (6 women on a girl's getaway). It has been recently updated, so the place is really clean. It is in the residential part of the Navarre beach, a few blocks from the National Seashore. If you are looking to get away from the crowds, this place is perfect. It's a haul into town, but that's the cost of being secluded. The kitchen is great and fully stocked; there is a charcoal grill on the deck. The deck is perfect for your morning coffee. Each bedroom has its own full bath. One Queen bedroom on the first floor; upstairs is the Master with a king bed and a balcony overlooking the gulf; one other BR with two full beds and a day bed. Plus there was a rollaway and a sofa bed. Check with the rental agent regarding what items will be provided, and your check out time (which is way too early) -- he was very helpful.
